The journey from Knowledge to Success

Knowledge is power. Power can be achieved through how you apply the knowledge you have acquired in your 'live and learn' encounter with human beings. Such knowledge can be acquired through practical experience most times and your best bet is through your network. Your network should consist of people who are ready to invest in you or add value to your life while you reciprocate to these categories of people. After all, society is structured upon the principle of give and take. From my standpoint, it is best to engage in such so as to increase your chances of being a decent human being with reasonably high standards. Standards high enough to always remind you that your network through which grow in life are your Friends. Not in the casual way but in the real rationale of the word ‘Friend’. People who know you truly and appreciate your good side more than your bad and can tolerate you being in their life- type of friend. Enough to know that you are willing to add value to your friend’s life. These kind of people do not come all at once. They come over the years based on your level of sense you have required with the experience mentioned earlier. And this experience is linked to street-smartness which is very handy for taking life on. Along side: hard work, smart work (2/5 of street smartness), determination, a realistic approach to life, focus and a self respecting level of morality. All these work together in order to achieve something. That something is your ‘Goal’. You can and you should set goals from the moment you realize this till you die. Just keep setting no matter how small. It all leads to progress. So What is/are your Goals? Have you thought about them enough to start setting them? It’s never too late. Just think about it in a true manner in line with who you know you are. It’s all about you. Positive self development is key to being on the right path to achieving your goals and achieving your goals equates to success.
